Free Mindful Contact with Nature Sessions in Frodsham
Most of us lead very busy and hectic lives with huge demands on our time and energy. It can be all too easy to allow stress and tensions to build that can take their toll on our mental and physical health.
As part of ‘Cheshire’s Natural Health Service’ The Mersey Forest are running free Mindful Contact with Nature Sessions in Frodsham on Mondays, starting on 8 April, open to anyone.
Mindfulness aims to get people to slow down and ‘take in’ the moment; focusing one’s awareness on the present, taking in the physical sensations of our environment while calmly acknowledging and accepting our thoughts and feelings.
The Mersey Forest sessions will run in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Park and encourage people to gain therapeutic benefit from time spent in and around nature; benefits which are becoming increasingly well-documented by studies throughout the world. It’s an opportunity to take time out, breathe and enjoy the stunning trees and landscape of the park.
Mindful Contact with Nature in Castle Park will begin on Monday 8th April and run for 8 weeks at 10am and 1pm. Run by experienced and popular Mindfulness Practitioner from Hypnotherapy Horizons, Bob Wheat, previous courses have filled up very quickly so if you’re interested book your place now by calling Bob on 07507 013 283.
