Listed Grade II (1785) - The weir and sluice gates are between the Weaver Navigation and the River Weaver. The weir is curved and is about 45 metres (148 ft) wide. To the south of it are two sluice gates, each about 5 metres (16.4 ft) wide. The sluices have stone piers with semicircular cutwaters and stone abutments.
