Historical Old Hall Hotel – Garden Walls and Tide Stones

oldhallgardenGarden walls, Listed Grade II (c. 1800) - The walls are on the north and west sides of the garden at the rear of the hotel. They are in brick with stone copings, and are 50 metres (164 ft) by 30 metres (98 ft) long. The walls are about 2 metres (6.6 ft) high, and have rectangular buttresses.

Tide stones, Listed Grade II (1802) - These are two stones in the garden at the rear of the hotel that mark the height to which the tide rose in 1802 and in 1862. Both stones are rectangular in plan, have round tops, are about 50 centimetres (20 in) high, and are inscribed with details and dates.
