Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge

Sutton Weaver Swing BridgeThe Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge is situated on the A56 between Frodsham and Sutton Weaver. The present bridge was constructed in 1926 and is a vital transport link across the River Weaver.

Although it used to have its own railway station which opened on the 1 April 1869 and was situated on the east side of Station Road near to the railway bridge. The station closed to passengers in 1931 and completely closed in 1942.

The nearby moorings are home to the Danny Steamship which runs short cruises during the summer season.
