Out of School Club held over 2 sessions

OPAL’s purpose is to provide friendship and reduce loneliness experienced by older people in west Cheshire who, for one reason or another find it difficult to get out and about to meet others. We do this by bringing people together in cheerful social situations, such as the OPAL Clubs and other befriending services.

Two hour sessions. Relax and unwind in beautiful natural surroundings. Breathe in and notice the peaceful trees and wildlife. Feel calmer and ready for new things.

A 30 minute walk in Frodsham's Castle Park, with tea and chat in the cafe afterwards. There is also a 60 minute walk in Frodsham's Castle Park and on paths by the park, with tea and chat in the cafe afterwards.

GoOnLine is a drop-in service which helps older people and carers in rural areas learn how to access the internet with the one-to-one support of volunteers. The service aims to foster use of the internet to pursue peoples’ personal interests.

You don’t need to be a good singer to benefit. Join them for fun vocal warm-ups and sing a wide variety of familiar and new songs in a supported environment. The group is hosted by their skilled, compassionate and experienced group leaders.

It’s June so it must be summer time! And what better way to celebrate that with some wine? Come along to this tasting evening and sample lashings of sunshine in a glass! There’ll be fizz, white, rose and summer reds to try and the evening will be hosted by the ebullient Bryn Stephens from Alliance Wines.

We will also be serving sharing boards to complement the wines.
