Listed Grade II (17th century) - Originally three cottages, later converted into two. At first they were timber-framed, and this has been partly replaced in brick. The cottages stand on a sandstone plinth and have thatched roofs, no. 85 being lower than no. 89. They are in two storeys. The windows are casements, those in the upper storeys being in dormers.
