Acrylics & Mixed Media Workshop
Dates/Times: Tuesdays 7-9pm, Oct 8, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec 2 (8 weeks)
Level: Suitable for beginners to more advanced
This comprehensive mixed media workshop explores combining different mixed media techniques which includes:
• Acrylic painting techniques including colour theory and colour mixing
• Developing layers with various acrylic gels & pastes to create textural surfaces, effects and finishes
• Monoprinting using the Gelli plate to create papers for collage
• Combining wet and dry media and expressive mark making
• Working with found objects/elements
• Developing semi-abstract/abstract compositions
• Paint effects and finishes
The general theme for this workshop will be rural/urban landscapes, nature or botanicals

Yoga Flow suitable for all levels of practice.
Including breath work, dynamic flows, stretching & mediation with mindfulness are the forefront of the practice.

OPAL’s purpose is to provide friendship and reduce loneliness experienced by older people in west Cheshire who, for one reason or another find it difficult to get out and about to meet others. We do this by bringing people together in cheerful social situations, such as the OPAL Clubs and other befriending services.

You can turn up anytime between 7pm and 9pm at the Proganda Room (above Kash 22), or you can get in touch. Nathan can come along and meet you before 7pm if that helps, or we can have a chat on the phone, that often helps with any anxieties which most of us have when it's something new like this.

The club play at Frodsham leisure centre on a Thursday evening from 7pm until 9pm £6 visitors fee. Limited to 3 visits before becoming a member
