6 January 2026: Chester Road, Sutton Weaver, Frodsham closure will come into force on Sunday 15th February 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. To enable essential repairs to Sutton Weaver swing bridge works to be carried out by Canal and River Trust. It is anticipated that the work will take approximately 7 days to complete.
