This building was built circa 1830 in a late Georgian style. It has been Davis J.G & Co builders and contractors yard since 1840 although at one time it was believed to have been part of a tannery. The building can be seen on the right of this picture taken circa 1900. Also in shot on the left is Ashley House.
Listed Grade II (c. 1830) - A brick house with a slate roof. It is in three storeys, and has a symmetrical three-bay front. The doorcase is in simple classical style. The windows are sashes.
